Job Description:
  • Educate employees / trainees on company information, policies and procedures
  • Implement employees / trainees discipline ensuring that legal risk are minimized and decisions are in accordance with existing policies
  • Consult legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with labor laws
  • Conduct counseling to employees with work-related issues
  • Facilitate process and policy calibration sessions with the management team of the different departments
  • Conduct investigations and deliberation on employee infractions and sanctions
  • Oversee the analysis, maintenance and communication of records required by law
  • Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
  • Study legislation, arbitration decisions, to assess industry trends
  • Analyze attrition data and work on initiatives to increase employee retention
Requirements:
  • Has background in Industrial Relations and/pr Employee Discipline
  • Has background in conducting orientations/calibration sessions to a large group of employees
  • Has worked in a similar position for at least 2 years
  • Excellent conceptual and presentation skills
  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills required
  • Proficient in creating reports and MS Office
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedules (including night shift, weekends and holidays)
